Purple with Blue Speckle Wool Crocheted Blanket

Crochet can't be made by machine. Knitting can, and most of what gets sold as a handmade blanket is. Crochet has never been mechanised — there is no machine anywhere that does it. Every stitch in this one was worked by hand, by me.

And there is one of it. Not one in stock — one that exists. I don't work from a written pattern I could pick up and follow again, so the way the colours fall, the edge, where a speckle lands, all of it happened once. If it's still here, it hasn't found its home yet.
